Chand is from Mauritius and is part of Istanbul and I since December 2019. He moved to Turkey in 2016 for his undergraduate studies and graduated in the field of Urban and Regional Planning from Istanbul Technical University in 2020. Currently, he is doing a Master's Degree in Regional Planning at Yıldız Technical University and is also working as a Business Development Manager in a start-up. He firmly believes that no one should be limited to their academic background only and highly encourages people to learn as many skills as possible while not being afraid to fail. Among his interests are football (has a signed LFC jersey from Sadio Mane), writing, enjoying the city as an urban lab and traveling.
